Cardio Kickboxing

Kickboxing focuses on general strikes and kicks with a cardiovascular training twist. Various striking and kicking techniques are taught to aid self defense skills while giving our clients a high intensity workout.


My name is Charles Perry. I am married with one kid.  I have been into lifting weights, running, biking, wakeboarding, swimming for about 15 years.  One day my wife came home to tell me she went to a Crossfit workout and a Cardio Kickboxing class and I should try these.  I would really enjoy them.  I tried them about 2 years ago and have been doing Crossfit and Cardio kickboxing ever since.  After about 2 months of going to the Cardio kickboxing it was suggested I should try teaching cardio kickboxing.  So I gave it a shot and been teaching ever since.  I enjoy holding a Cardio Kickboxing class giving people a continuous workout for 45 min.  Cardio Kickboxing class is combining martial arts movements with the energy of an aerobics class.  The class starts with a cardio warmup of repetitive punches and kicks.   Then move into bag work mixed with aerobic moves.  At the end of class there is a cool down period of stretching. 

For those of you reading this that have never done Cardio Kickboxing , are scared, intimidated , don’t think your in good enough shape, whatever it is that is holding you back, the only thing I can say is “Just Try It”. Each and every athlete at our gym came in scared and intimidated and no one is ever in “Good Enough Shape. Teaching has really let me show my passion for fitness and share it with others.  Come and share your passion of fitness and join me in Cardio Kickboxing class.
